WORSHIP AT FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

Worship services are conducted at 8:00 A.M. in the parlour and 10:30 in our beautiful, recently refurbished sanctuary. Our stained glass windows portray a variety of Biblical scenes and are among the most beautiful such artwork in this part of the state.

Each of our worship services is centered on a Biblical theme and our pastors seek to faithfully interpret the scriptural text. From time to time throughout the year the pastors will turn to costumed drama to help present the message. Holy Communion is celebrated monthly and the Sacrament of Baptism is offered when requested. All baptized Christians are welcome at our Communion table.

Music is a very important part of our life at First Presbyterian Church. Our fine chancel choir under the direction of Judy Kimmer adds beauty to our Sunday morning experience throughout the school year. During the summer months soloists and occasional ensembles present special music. Our bell choirs under the direction of Barbara Bowman have gained area renown and provide musical opportunities for a wide spectrum of ages. Tim Lewis is our organist and his playing of our Wicks built pipe organ adds special beauty to our praise of God and is often accompanied by piano or other instruments.

Child care is available throughout the morning.

We cordially invite you to join with us in lifting praise to our Lord.
