Here's a quick update on the life of Katia Kimmer...
Two weekends ago I spent 4 days with Hilary (from Minn) in Tres Lagoas. Tres Lagoas means 3 lakes in English... her city is in the state MS of Brasil which is said to be the TX of Brasil... That's right, bbq, ranches, cowboys, and country music.... bet you didn't know they had all THAT in brasil!! Anyways, we basically swam, ate sooooo much cake (her mom made like 2 cakes a day), and talked.... hmmmm... i think that's all the things i'm good at... oh, and by-the-by when i say "swam"-- i really mean "laid by the pool" hehehe....Anyways... I came back early last Tuesday afternoon and got ready to head to....
Andradina on Friday night. I came home from Andradina Sunday night. I went because Paulina (from Mexico) was having a big joint-birthday party there with her host brother. Her family rented out a club and a DJ and had about 75 people there!! Good times, crazy fun (and again, MORE CAKE)!! There were like 12 exchangers who came from out-of-town for her b-day! Sooooo much fun. Anyways, that was Saturday night in Andradina (so don't worry girls, when you were partying, so was i!!---kindred party spirits, i guess...PS--how was the party at shapiro's??).... Then on Sunday we had a big seafood party and again "swam" and then watched movies together. On monday, we all went shopping and then chilled and "watched" another movie--it seems like we did a lot more talking than watching of that one (Batman Begins--i already saw it back in the states)... Then we all went out for burgers (WHAT?!?! burgers?!?) and headed to the bus station and back home.
This Thursday (today) is the official end of school and tests for all brasilians in Araçatuba!! So... Calypso (the most popular night club in Araçatuba) is having a big special party for everyone. So of course i'm going to that!! I'll prolly get home in-time to take a quick shower around 5am and then head off to a Water Park in another city at like 5:30am!! I'll get back tomorrow night around midnight and PASS-OUT from not sleeping for about 36 hours straight!! Then i have to wake up bright and early Saturday morning because my family is going to a churrasco (brasilian bbq) on some beach (not on the ocean) 2.5 hours away... i think my extended family will be there too (hopefully)... So yeah, and then head back home to Araçatuba sometime Saturday night.... And then Sunday is my Class Churrasco!!! WHOA--LOTS of churrascos!!! and Monday.... is my 18th birthday!!! anybody who would like to phone me and sing happy b-day is more than welcome to!!
