Glad to hear that you got the pictures--but I have no idea about the Bible... But I'm pretty sure that it's just open to the middle to look pretty... My mom has a different bible that she uses for her Bible study and mass n stuff... Funny that you asked about that, because so did Caroli Wolfe... My room here is definitely smaller than my room in America-- AND it has ten times less closet space... Good thing I didn't bring many clothes with me because there would be absolutely nowhere for them to go!!

Today I went to Salla's house and we got pictures developed, ate lunch with her family, took a nap, and went swimming/tanning, and then walked home from downtown and stopped at a Pandaria to get Saugado for dinner... Good times... I REALLY love this Finnish girl! She's my first real friend here!

I'm getting really excited about the Rotary trip this weekend (to Pantanal e Bonito)--We're gonna be gone for a whole week!! woohoo!! no school! And this Friday I'm not going to school either because I have a buncha stuff to do to get ready for the trip!! wooohooo!!

I have a couple Brasilian friends... But not so many yet... it's difficult right now for them to think of me as anything other than a "gringa" (foreigner)... I think I'm gonna end up knowing the word for foreigner in every language before I die....

Yes, I am also excited about cheaper... I know you find this hard to believe, but I honestly don't like wasting money... I save money better than any of my friends...

well, I'm gonna let you go now! I love you soooooo much!
